“Fezziwig Pom Parkins”

Lucky Orphans would like to introduce you to Fezziwig Pom Parkin aka Pom!

Born in 2000 and registered as Fezziwig Pom Parkins with the Belgian Draft Horse Corporation of America, this magnificent gelding arrived at LOHR in 2018 alongside his daughter, Ruby. Tragically, their young owner passed away, leaving the beloved horses in the care of her parents. Facing the increasing costs of caring for the horses, the family made the difficult decision to seek a new home for them.

Facing the heartbreaking prospect of euthanasia, we at LOHR stepped in to provide Pom and Ruby with a safe and loving sanctuary.

Today, Pom plays a vital role in our equine therapy programs. His calm and gentle demeanor, combined with his impressive size, creates a sense of comfort and security for our participants.
