Explore the sanctuary alongside our knowledgeable guide and discover the incredible stories of our rescued horses. Learn about their unique paths to Lucky Orphans and the impact your visit has on their well-being. Comfortable shoes and attire suitable for the weather are recommended to ensure a fully enjoyable visit.

Day Pass- $20 for individual or a family up to 4 people. $5 each additional person. Please sign in the office 9am-3pm Mon-Thurs or call 845-877-0685.

  • We had an absolutely fantastic day with Deanna and everyone else at Lucky Orphans. It was amazing to see the love and care everyone puts into their time there and with the animals. It was amazing to be able to spend so much one on one time with the horses, both in the stables and the ring, letting us connect on a much more personal level. Thank you Deanna for a great day!

All were healthy or on their way there thanks to the staff and volunteers. Safety rules were clear and the tour was a good length, with lots of opportunities for interaction.

  • This is definitely a MUST for experiences. I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to get there, and I was not disappointed in the slightest with this experience. Deanna is extremely welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable, and the other volunteers were wonderful. The sanctuary is calming and peaceful. Even if you just go for their other experiences, definitely check them out. If I could give more than 5 stars I would... and I definitely plan on going back!
