Oliver, “Ollie”

Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue would like to introduce you to Oliver Twist, aka Ollie!

Ollie is a welsh pony cross born in 1995. He arrived at LOHR sick. His previous owners got tired of cleaning his water trough and put chlorine in his water. The chlorine destroyed his immune system and digestive system, the result left him with epilepsy and many other health issues. After months of special care and TLC he made a rebound. Today Ollie still has health complications and is at risk for seizures. Despite all the trauma he has been through Ollie is extremely playful and loving. He loves to be groomed and have his neck scratched. If you don’t pay attention to him, he’ll knock over your wheelbarrow! Ollie is a true survivor and spends his days with the other special need’s horses. He has found safety here.
