Midnight Rose

We present to you, Rosie’s Midnight!

Midnight Rose is a Thoroughbred mare, born in 2009. Midnight arrived at the rescue in the summer of 2019 along with Rosie and Britangela. The three of them arrived at the farm emaciated and neglected. Rosie is Midnight’s mother, Midnight has never been separated from her mother and becomes very distressed when she gets separated from her. When she first arrived at the rescue, she had no manners and did not understand how to be handled. Her anxiety has dissipated the longer she has been here. She now knows she will always have food and her mom is not going anywhere. Since being here, Midnight has learned how to be walked with a lead, being blanketed, and is working on standing for the farrier. We are very proud of this girl’s progress.
