Walktober Fest Day 1

Location: Walkway Over The Hudson

The Walktoberfest Farmers and Makers Market brings a curated selection of the Hudson Valley’s finest producers – farms, distilleries, breweries, wineries, restaurants, artists, artisans, and more – to the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and west approach to Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 from 12-5 p.m. Vendors will exhibit their wares for tasting or purchase, allowing participants to support several local agribusinesses in one location.

Full Moon Crystal Bowls Sound Bath Healing & Meditation

Full Moon Crystal Bowls Sound Bath Healing & Meditation

Join Willow on a journey through the healing power of sound.
The full moon is a powerful time to let go of what is no longer serving you and to manifest your dreams. When you let go of old beliefs, you create more space to welcome fresh, new energy into your life. This crystal singing bowl sound healing is designed to put you into a relaxed, meditative state where you can access a theta consciousness. It is in this state that insight occurs, and your body's natural healing systems kick in.
This session combines the healing light and sound alchemy of crystal singing bowls in the presence of horses.
The Fall season is here and the days are getting shorter . It is a great opportunity to rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul as we make the adjustment to the change of the season.
Dress comfortable and for the weather. We will be in the barn with a few horses. Bring a chair/or yoga mat and bottle of water.

Why Horses?
They are able to assist on many levels and layers in deep healing, fine tuning, removing blockages and negative energies. And naturally they help regulate our nervous systems just by BEING with them.
According to HeartMath Institute:
"....the heart is the most powerful generator of electromagnetic energy in the human body, producing the largest rhythmic electromagnetic field of any of the body's organs. The heart's electric field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain. This field, measured in the form of electrocardiogram (ECG) can be detected anywhere on the surface of the body. Furthermore, the magnetic field produced by the heart is 5,000 times greater in strength than the field generated by the brain and can be detected a number of feet away from the body in all directions."

The electromagnetic field of the horse's heart is 5 times greater than ours, making their sensitivity to energies around them more acute, thus picking up the energy we are putting out. For example, our emotions carry different energies. The horses will feel these energies and respond to them showing us what we are feeling, even when we are unaware our self.

The horse's heart beats three times slower than ours. When our heart and body connect to this energy we feel relief, a sense of well-being and our bodies begin to heal inviting us to slow down and experience what's going on inside of us. - Kindred Spirits
